NOAH Host is not a place or machine; it is an "off-the-shelf" software package you install where ever you like. Put it on your own server, place it at your favorite ISP or use the NOAH Hosting Center. If you start out on your own server and your needs change, just pick it up and move it. You always have every option open.

NOAH Host runs in the current mainstream of Microsoft Server software. Just activate the Internet Information Service (IIS) feature, activate the MS SQL database in either the full SQL or MSDE version, and GO. How big the server is depends on what else it might be doing and the size of your association. Large databases benefit from NOAH running on a separate computer from the MS SQL database. Large staffs will benefit from using a dedicated server. But NOAH users with the MSDE version of the database will find one server is usually adequate.

NOAH Host is used through an Internet browser and so does not require much in the way of a workstation. You will be able to get many more years of use out of your workstations and any laptop that can browse the Internet will work when you are out of the office.
